NAAS Unofficial Guide to Criminal Websites

NAAS-NEWS Correspondent Abraham Levi reports:

It has been at least over eight years since a federal criminal complaint was filed against Joshua Centor for conduct and acts he committed against an affiliate of National Academy of American Scholars
, and others. Federal records indicate that Josh Centor did not formally refute or deny criminal allegations that included claims that he submitted a false, fraudulent, and incomplete financial-aid application, and that he violated numerous NAAS EAS/N2 Rules, Joshua Centor

Upset, bitter, and disgruntled because he was passed over by superior applicants in a merit-based competition, federal records indicate that Josh Centor then sought to use federal agencies and U.S. tax money as his personal piggy bank. Instead of seeking the services of a private attorney, and using his own funds, a federal complaint alleges that Josh Centor instead sought to corruptly influence federal authorities with false, deceptive, untrue, and misleading statements.

On January 19th, 2009, a person referring to themselves as 'Larry Centor' was caught posting a series of false and deceptive statements on a perverse website. The same person named 'Larry Centor' was subsequently determined to be associated with a series of other criminal websites, and each one included references to the name of 'Josh Centor.'

NAAS has now published an UnOfficial Criminal Websites guide for consumers.

NAAS 2008 College Football Champions

National Academy of American Scholars (NAAS) presents its first annual NAAS College Football Champions. This award was created in response to the flawed Bowl Championship Series (BCS), and the equally flawed AP poll.

Unlike most media organizations, NAAS Athletic Awards are not tied to marketing or hype. The first recipient of the NAAS College Football Champions is the University of Utah. We do not support the AP Poll listing the Florida Gators as #1, and we do not believe that the Florida Gators deserve to be national champions of 2008. Please refer to our YouTube Video for a video representation.

NAAS presents a line of collegiate apparel, in addition to its sponsorship of merit-based awards. Past awards have ranged from $5000 to $25,000.00. NAAS-NEWS is an independent news division subsidiary of National Academy of American Scholars.

NAAS is a private organization that features a subscription service for access to special news, and we also sponsor private merit-based awards for eligible high school seniors and college students

NAAS Female Athlete of the Year

National Academy of American Scholars announces its female athlete of the year award for 2008. Swedish golfing sensation Annika Sorenstam (f/k/a Lorena Ochoa) is our choice for winning the first NAAS female athlete of the year award.

Although the Associated Press has selected Candace Parker of the Los Angeles Sparks (citing her participation in the U.S. Olympics), we do not believe that professional athletes (whether male or female) should be allowed to participate in an event that was originally designed for amateurs.

The decision by Parker, and other U.S. male N.B.A. athletes to compete against amateurs may be considered by some to be a reflection of their morals. It is a known fact that a number of U.S. Olympic Committe (U.S.O.C.) officers have been indicted in the past for criminal conduct, and that the original Olympics barred professional participation.

It is the opinion of National Academy of American Scholars that the inclusion of N.B.A. and W.N.B.A. athletes in the Olympics to compete against players who are not qualified to even sit on the bench, let alone, actually play in the league, is a fraud by the U.S.O.C. designed to generate marketing revenue at the expense of
fair competition.

According to an online website (SignonSandiego), Candace Parker plans to play in
Russia in 2009. This is the same country that has nuclear missiles pointed at every American man, woman, and child.

We believe it is excusable for any American athlete to prostitute their purses for a country that has weapons pointed towards the men, women, and children of the U.S.

NAAS Male Athlete of the Year

National Academy of American Scholars announces its male athlete of the year award for 2008. Our choice is Usain Bolt. He is a Jamican sprinter. Bolt set world records in Track & Field at the 2008 Olympics held in China.

Although many performances in the most recent Olympics were tainted and corrupt, the success of Usain Bolt is not subject to debate or speculation. For example, th 8th Gold medal of Michael Phelps is certainly a topic still in discussion.

Although the Associated Press has selected Michael Phelps, citing his record-breaking 8 Gold Medals in the swimming events in the 2008 Olympics, for many reasons we do
not believe his selection is deserved. Only a few of those reasons will be cited herein.

For starters, swimming is purely a skill-intensity sport that does not merit the same respect as a true sport like Track & Field; which was the basis for the creation of the original Olympics.

By his record, Phelps turned pro by 16 years-old. What 16 year-old can compete in a true pro sport like football, baseball, or basketball, etc?? NONE!

Swimming is approximately 80% skill and 20% hard-work. A look at the torso of
Phelps reveals he is not nearly as fit as track star Usain Bolt.

We believe that Michael Phelps is a marketing hype, made to appear at
events he is uncomfortable with, made to associate with persons outside
of his normalcy, and that his post-Olympic personality is a fraud.

Unlike swimming, Track & Field does contain the essential elements of pure athleticism like power, speed, quickness, and agility.

The fact that Phelps has been rejected by his own natural father suggest that there is
something sinister about his character that the main-stream media has heretofore not
reported. Is Michael Phelps a great swimmer? Yes. Is he a great athlete that deserves special
distinction above all others? No.
