Debate on immigration and Article 8.

Last week I spoke in a Government debate on immigration, deportation and Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights. Most people will be aware of the case of Aso Ibrahim Mohammed, an asylum seeker who killed a young girl in a hit and run, who was subsequently given asylum in the UK after only serving 4 months in prison.

This is a revolting case of a man abusing a system that was
