Just a day earlier, electronic evidence indicates that Vegas.Com had cryed and pooh-poohed to FaceBook Inc that Scholarships, Grants, and Loans was posting SPAM to its accounts. In fact, Scholarships, Grants, and Loan was providing far more resourceful, valuable, and meaningful information than the scantily-clad, useless, half-naked pictures that Vegas.Com routinely posts on its Vegas.Com social media channels.
I guess this POST is SPAM also that deserves to be censored.
How is the picture of half-naked women going to benefit students in Nevada or Facebook users? These are the type of senseless pictures routinely posted by Vegas.Com; one of the biggest print advertisers in Nevada. Billboards of Vegas.Com consume freeway travel routes to Southern California, and Arizona, and Utah. Tourists are surely tired of seeing smut-like images that encourage the wasteful practice of gambling and that demean the intelligence of women.
We thank the the U.S. Department of Education and other experts for exposing the fact that education in the State of Nevada is a mirage, a fraud, and essentially non-existent. Teachers of the Clark County School District are amongst the worst in the world, let alone the U.S.A; statistics and critics support this contention.
Many Clark County teachers are so lazy that they assign students to grade and teach other students; yet, these same teachers want a full salary and benefits for working part-time on a full-time shift. When their wages are threatened, Clark County teachers immediately seek out the Socialist union that represents teachers. Students are placed at the bottom; students and parents have to pay more for less services.
Students in Clark County Nevada, have been short-changed so many times by the Clark County School District that few even trust the school district. For example, parents report the fact that many software programs run by the School District (i.e., Parent Link, etc.) do not work but teachers want to immediately receive their salaries.
Unqualified teachers in the Clark Count School System are routinely shuffled and rotated from school to school, although they may not have any specific skill or training in the area in which they are being assigned. The Union makes it difficult to fire or terminate a free-loading and incompetent teacher.
It should be no surprise that Vegas.Com cried like a baby to Facebook Inc to censor Scholarships, Grants, and Financial-aid from Nevada students. Nevada students need an education, and they need qualified teachers, and they need a voice. Scholarships, Grants, and Loans WILL NOT be censored or deprived of providing accurate and truthful information about the pitiful state of affairs of Nevada education and how students are being short-changed.
National Academy of American Scholars was founded in 1988, and predates both Facebook Inc. and Vegas.com. In 15 years, FaceBook will be like AOL; a forgotten entity.
It is clear that Vegas.Com is not going to provide any scholarships, grants, or financial-aid to a single Nevada student from the sin wages it receives from its advertisers; alcohol, gambling, casinos; soft or semi-porn images; and who's who list of sin companies that use the game of chance to lure quarters, dollars, and hard-earned wages. You cannot purchase your way into Heaven with the wages of sin; too bad Steve Wynn.
In fact, gambling of all forms should be outlawed and banned in America. America rose to industrial prominence not by gambling, and casinos, but by hard-work, ethics, and creativity.
Gambling is a dumb-man's game. Gambling is wasteful, non-productive, socially destructive, encourages and promotes other crimes, and is designed to enrich the privileged few who qualify for gaming licenses that are in fact issued subject to favoritism, discrimination, and tainted social connections. Less than 1% of any African-American has a gaming license in Nevada, but the poor chaps account for over 35% of revenue generated. Less than 3% of Latinos own a Nevada gaming license. No locally-born Asians own a gaming license.
We oppose CENSORSHIP, and we opposed all forms of gambling. Las Vegas, NV has relied upon gambling for decades, and Las Vegas, NV students have been at the bottom of education for decades. A culture of gambling does not mix well with education.
Gambling, such as that promoted by Vegas.com, will always seek to be placed ahead of the student's best interest.
Once again, thank you U.S. Under Secretary of Education Martha Kanter. We appreciate you exposing the sad condition of Nevada education.
