I have received a reply from Rossendale Council on Ash Dieback disease.
Whilst most of my queries were ignored it does make two valuable points.
The Government did nothing to inform local councils, the responsible authority with tree experts of the disease in the critical months when ash trees had foliage. Council staff have now been briefed and are on the lookout.
