I have raised the issue of poor rolling stock on East Lancashire's rail network in the House of Commons.

The Secretary of State says that success on the railways has been achieved because of privatisation. The rolling stock in east Lancashire must be among the worst in the UK—it is absolutely dreadful. Privatisation has certainly not worked. The northern franchise
