Judge Hammers Las Vegas Silverado High School Softball Coach Albert Hernandez Jr. with 23-year term
Last year, the Scholarship Committee of National Academy of American Scholars, reports that they distributed valuable Nevada scholarship literature intended for Nevada high-school students. Information on Lacrosse Scholarships, Volleyball Scholarships, Soccer Scholarships, Football Scholarships, Basketball Scholarships, and even Softball Scholarships was sent. To ensure the material was received, phone calls were reportedly made to the responsible varsity coaches. One of the coaches allegedly called was Softball Coach Albert Silva Hernandez Jr.
According to the Scholarship Committee, Softball Coach Albert Silva Hernandez Jr. never answered any letters and Silverado High School officals never responded to any phone-calls. Now, we know why Softball Coach Albert Silva Hernandez Jr. was so busy. Law enforcment authorities, and the Clark County School District Police arrested the outgoing Silverado High School Softball Coach in May of 2012. According to his arrest report, Albert S. Hernandez had an ongoing dirty relationship with a young Silverado High School who was on his Softball team. The dirty relationship apparently lasted several months with the 17-year-old female team member.
The dirty relationship was confirmed by Clark County School District police through the girl's cellphone records, which contained explicit pictures of Albert Silva Hernandez Jr engaging in perverted, disgusting, filthy, and demented sexual acts beyond human normalcy.
Teen Victim Manipulated by Man Twice Her Age
Under his apparent instructions, manipulation, and deceptive emotional methods, the young teen victim exchanged explicit text messages and photos of herself to satisfy the gross evil desired by Albert Silva Hernandez Jr.
Instead of responding to phone calls, and letters, requesting that he inform Silverado High School students of the numerous scholarships, grants, and financial-aid opportunities that exist for Silverado High School students, such as Lacrosse Scholarships, Volleyball Scholarships, Soccer Scholarships, Football Scholarships, Basketball Scholarships, and even Softball Scholarships sponsored by National Academy of American Scholars, as well as scholarships for moms, and women, what was this jerk Albert S. Hernandez Jr., apparently doing instead? According to school police, Albert S. Hernandez Jr. was carrying on a detailed, and perverted relationship with a particular female softball player, and encouraging her to transmit lewd pornographic images, while he would send images of his dirty genitals. Disgusting! Disgusting! Disgusting!
Clearly, this is a guy that needs legal and medical attention. In all, Albert S. Hernandez Jr. was served with a legal complaint that included six felony counts, including two counts of sex between a school employee and a student, three counts of distributing child pornography and one count of production of child pornography. A federal magistrate ordered his detention. When will Clark County School District teachers learn this simple lesson: Dirty sex does not pay. Keep your dirty body off of Nevada High School students. Keep your dirty body off of teenagers! Instead, refer all teens, moms, women, and working adults, to the FREE, CLEAN, and VALUABLE scholarships, grants, and financial-aid sponsored by National Academy of American Scholars. Doesn't that sound like a great deal?
Legal Age of Consent in Nevada
Supporters of Albert S. Hernandez Jr. claim that the relationship was consensual, and that the legal age of consent in Nevada is 17 years of age. Text messages by the teen also suggest the relationship was consensual. However, Albert S. Hernandez Jr. is not the brightest rape suspect, and certainly his alleged crimes are less impactful than that of infamous serial killer and rapist Ted Bundy. However, the manner in which Albert S. Hernandez Jr carried out his acts is what he was arrested for. In addition, it is unlwaful for a school employee to have a relationship with a student.
If Albert S. Hernandez Jr. simply wanted to satisy his perverted and dirty fantasies then Albert S. Hernandez Jr. may have been better served by simply hiring a local Nevada prostitute, or heading to the closest local church to expel his dirty thoughts. He could have also encouraged the women to review the numerous scholarships, grants, and financial-aid for moms and women that are sponsored by National Academy of American Scholars.
Although Albert S. Hernandez Jr. may have been within the legal age of consent with his teen victim, he was outside the law on other matters. In Nevada, anyone who is 21 or older and is employed in a position of authority at a school is guilty of a category C felony if he or she engages in sexual conduct with a pupil who is 16 or 17 and is guilty of a category B felony if the student is 14 or 15.
Perverted Text Messages by Softball Coach Albert S. Hernandez Jr. Not Related to Scholarships
The degree of perversity and depravity of this Clark County School District employee is beyond belief. Police reports indicate that Albert S. Hernandez Jr. was so deperate for physical attention that he sent these text messages to his intended victim:
Perverted Text Messages by Albert S. Hernandez Jr. |
---|
"U were so sweet and luscious... My gosh!!!" |
Police said, Hernandez requested photos of the girl, saying, "I need pictures... I'm horny." |
The teen told police Hernandez requested specific photographs "with underwear and without," and one text from Hernandez requested, "Just lift your blouse and bra and take a picture of your breasts." |
None of the dirty text messages had anything to do with sponsoring, promoting, or referring Nevada students to the scholarships, grants, and financial-aid sponsored by National Academy of American Scholars. None of the dirty text messages had anything to do with information on Lacrosse Scholarships, Volleyball Scholarships, Soccer Scholarships, Football Scholarships, Basketball Scholarships, and even Softball Scholarships sponsored by National Academy of American Scholars.
Conviction and Sentencing of Albert Hernandez, Jr.
Albert Silva Hernandez had a clear opportunity to advise numerous members of the Silverado High School Softball team about the Lacrosse Scholarships, Volleyball Scholarships, Soccer Scholarships, Football Scholarships, Basketball Scholarships, and even Softball Scholarships sponsored by National Academy of American Scholars. Instead of distributing, promoting, tweeting about, texting information relative to the scholarships, grants, and financial-aid sponsored by National Academy of American Scholars, Albert Silva Hernandez was texting smut images to his young victim.
Following a three-day trial, in April 2012, Albert Silva Hernandez, Jr., 44, of Las Vegas, was found guilty by a jury of his peers of causing the production of child pornography and exchanging sexually explicit text messages and photographs with a minor girl. The case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations, and the Clark County School District Police and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. attorneys Susan Cushman and Roger Yang. A letter was also written to the judge by the Scholarship Committee advising the judge that Hernandez failed to inform students at Silverado High School about scholarships, grants, and financial-aid sponsored by National Academy of American Scholars.
The case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of human adult perversity, reprehensible human sexual conduct, and child sexual exploitation and abuse.
On August 5th, 2013, Albert Silva Hernandez, Jr. was sentenced to more than 23 years in prison for federal convictions on child exploitation and pornography charges linked to his relationship with the 17-year-old softball player.
According to investigators with Clark County School District police, Hernandez carried on the dirty relationship with the female student for months while she attended Silverado High School. Although the girl's mother claimed she never suspected anything improper, the girl's father found out what was going on through the discovery of sexually explicit text messages and photos. The girl's mother even burst in tear when Albert Silva Hernandez, Jr. was sentenced. It remains unclear if the tears were directed in sympathy for pervert Albert Silva Hernandez. It also unclear whether or not the mother of the teen victim had a relationship of any type with pervert Albert Silva Hernandez, Jr.
Only after he was convicted did Albert Silva Hernandez, Jr., begin to show any remore. The Judge doubted the sincerity of claims by Albert Silva Hernandez, Jr., that was truly remorseful.
If any person knows of any other teacher(s) or educators currently engaging in any improper act(s) with any Nevada teenage boy or girl, then please refer the facts to your local law enforcement branch.
